Zonal ICR and OCR Toolkit

 

The SmartZone Zonal ICR and OCR Toolkit offers developers the ability to perform Zonal ICR and OCR (machine print character recognition) commonly used in forms processing applications. This .NET control and ActiveX COM component internally utilizes two separate recognition techniques to co-verify results and improve accuracy. ImagXpress Standard and ScanFix Xpress Lite are included with SmartZone for image handling, image cleanup, and TWAIN scanning.

SmartZone OCR is the upgrade path for customers currently using SmartScan Xpress ICR/OCR/OMR for zonal OCR only. FormFix is the upgrade path for customers requiring form identification, form registration, form dropout, and OMR features previously included in SmartScan Xpress ICR/OCR/OMR. The SmartZone and FormFix components are included in the FormSuite product.
